Magnet Warnings
Handling precautions warning
Magnets are fragile and can break and become dangerous. Please read this manual before handling the magnet. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are NOT held responsible for any injuries or losses caused by handling this product.
Do not use this product if you are wearing an implantable medical electronic device such as a cardiac pacemaker.
Accidental swallowing of magnets can lead to life-threatening accidents. If a swallowed magnet becomes lodged in the body, open surgery may be required, so if a magnet is swallowed, consult a doctor immediately and follow the instructions.
There is a risk that children (under 6 years of age) or persons requiring supervision may handle and swallow magnets, so please store it out of reach of children and persons requiring supervision.
Note
Damage due to impact
If magnets are attracted to each other or other objects and a strong impact is applied to the magnets, the magnet body or surface treatment may chip or peel off.
Strong adsorption
If magnets attract each other, they may NOT be able to separate depending on their shape.
Attraction
If a magnet is left unattended, it can be dangerous as it will forcefully attract surrounding magnets and metals.
Impact on product
Do NOT bring magnets close to mobile phones, analog watches, magnetic cards, magnetic tape, etc. Memory contents may be destroyed.
When separating the magnets, the attraction may cause them to collide and be damaged.
Sintered magnets with countersinking are not standard parts approved by the International Organization for Standardization. There is no standard for the proper tightening torque for countersunk sintered magnets. If you tighten it to the torque recommended by the screw standard, there is a risk of damage.
Adsorbed magnets can be removed by the motion of sliding. Compared to the other methods, it can be pulled apart with less force.
Precautions for each type of magnet
Neodymium |
Since it contains iron and is highly corrosive, it is coated with anti-corrosion treatment (plating or resin). It will corrode quickly if submerged in water or in a high humidity environment. Plating is sensitive to sweat, so please do not wear it on your skin for a long time. Since it is sensitive to high temperatures, please use it in an environment with a heat-resistant temperature of 80℃. If it exceeds the heat-resistant temperature, it will demagnetize. |

Samarium Cobalt | The hardness is extremely brittle and cracks and chips occur easily. Please handle with care. |
Ferrite | Its hardness is similar to that of porcelain, and it usually already has some degree of chipping. Please handle with care. |
Alnico |
When similar poles are brought close together and repelled, demagnetization or magnetic pole reversal may occur (N becomes S, S becomes N). Since it is sensitive to moisture and is not normally surface treated, it may rust prematurely in high humidity environments. |
